Chris Commins  is a National Account Manager for Resident. Chris has developed his career over the past 24 years by partnering with the best retailers and bringing best in class merchandise to market.  Chris joined Resident Home in November 2018 and helped pioneer the Nectar brand to retailers across the country.

 

Prior to joining Resident Retail, Chris was Director of Business Development, Mattress & Bedding for AVB BrandSource, one of the nation’s largest buying groups serving over 4,500 locally owned Appliance, Furniture, Mattress and Consumer Electronic retailers. Gaining a keen insight into what retailers need to drive traffic, Chris worked often as a consultant to help retailers transition to a digital marketing focus.

 

Chris began his career in the Mattress Industry with the Sealy Mattress Company from 1996 through 2008 starting as a Territory Manager.  Over the years, he worked his way up to National Accounts Manager in Chicago, IL.  He began his professional sales career with The Hershey Chocolate Company in 1992.  Chris holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Washington State University where he was also on the Men’s Varsity Crew team.

 

Chris resides in the Bay Area of Northern California along with his wife Carrie and their two children.
